Privacy Policy

Nova Muse is an entertainment app for iOS that lets you apply sample looks and effects to your own photos and videos. The app is developed and operated by Asif Mustafayev, an independent developer based in Azerbaijan (“we,” “us,” “our”).

You can reach us anytime at contact@novamusepro.com. This policy applies to the Nova Muse app and the website at novamusepro.com.

We deliberately avoid collecting personal information. We do not ask for or store:

• Your real name, email address, or phone number;
• Your contacts, calendar, or precise location;
• Your social media accounts or any cross-app identity;
• Any advertising or behavioral profile about you.

Nova Muse is designed so that we simply do not need this information to work.

To deliver the app's core feature, we process a small, defined set of information:

• Username. A display name you choose. It can be a pseudonym, is used only to maintain your identity within the app, and is never sold or shared with advertisers.
• The media you upload. The photos or videos you submit so an effect can be applied. We use them solely to generate your result.
• Minimal technical data. A temporary session token needed to route your request, return your result, and prevent abuse. It is not used to identify you personally.

When you apply an effect, your photo or video is sent over an encrypted connection to servers we operate ourselves, which run an AI image and video pipeline (ComfyUI). The transformation happens on our own infrastructure and the result is returned to your device.

Your media is not handed off to third-party AI providers for processing. We control the pipeline end to end.

Your original uploads and the processed results are kept only as long as needed to deliver your result, and in every case are permanently deleted within 24 hours.

Deletion is final and irreversible. Once removed, files cannot be recovered — not by you and not by us. We keep no long-term archive of your media. The short retention window is intentional: the less we store, the safer your content is.

On first use, iOS may present Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. We do not track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising, and we do not sell your data.

If the prompt appears and you choose “Ask App Not to Track,” every feature of Nova Muse continues to work exactly the same. Your choice never limits what the app can do for you.

Nova Muse is distributed through the Apple App Store. Any purchases, subscriptions, or refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your payment card details.

We do not embed third-party advertising networks or sell access to your information.

Nova Muse is intended for people aged 17 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly process information from anyone under 17.

If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us at contact@novamusepro.com and we will remove any associated information.

We protect data in transit with encryption and limit access to the systems that process your media. Because uploads are deleted within 24 hours, the window in which any media exists is intentionally small — short retention is our strongest safeguard.

We operate from Azerbaijan, and your media may be processed on servers we control. Wherever processing happens, the same 24-hour deletion rule applies. No method of transmission or storage is ever perfectly secure, but we keep our exposure as small as possible by design.

Because we hold so little, there is little to manage — your media erases itself within a day. You may stop using the app at any time, request deletion of your username, or ask what (if anything) is associated with it by emailing contact@novamusepro.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR to access, correct, or delete personal data. We honor these requests for the limited data we hold and will respond as required by applicable law.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. The current version is always available at novamusepro.com.
